2014...My next exhibition at Hill Smith Gallery in mid September this year will be a celebration of 10 years with the gallery. It is a very new body of paintings I've been working on for about 2 or 3 years - my response to the wilderness sanctuary of Arkaroola in the Northern Flinders Ranges of South Australia (see below in 2012).

2013  - Finalist in the Portia Geach Memorial Award

      - Finalist in the Fleuireu Prize

      - Finalist in the Eutick Memorial Still Life Award

2012 - In October, travelled to New York City for a painting Masterclass with Steven Assael in his studio.

2012 - In June, attended Advanced Drawing Masterclass with artist Steven Assael in his New York City studio

2012 - Began a new series of paintings, following a trip to the wilderness sanctuary of Arkaroola in the Northern Flinders Ranges.  I had joined a SEG (Scientific Expedition Group) field trip in 2011 whose task it was to survey 14 sites in various terrains, and these paintings are the result of time spent in the very mysterious, ancient, almost surreal, atmosphere of this region.

2011 - Received Arts SA Grant for Research & Development of new work

2011 - People's Choice Award, Nora Heysen Centenary Prize

2011 - Finalist, Nora Heysen Centenary Prize

Australian Art Collector, issue 55
