In 2011 Louise Feneley accompanied the Scientific

Expedition Group surveying fourteen different

sites around Arkaroola in the Northern Flinders

Ranges. The experience of this ancient and powerful

landscape proved to be profoundly important to the

direction of the artists’ work.
